Now I don’t normally post photo’s of other peoples cars, but this is certainly an exception to the rule.
Here’s Broadfield’s engine bay. The guy has crazy attention to detail, and has just overhauled his engine bay in amongst his LS Conversion.
If my engine bay comes out half as good as this, I’ll be pretty happy.
Lots of progress!
Got my new arms in, looks sweet, and they’re beefy as hell! New locking system is sweet too.
Got rid of both ABS & the airbag system. Along with all the associated wiring. This is less than a third of what I pulled out all together.
So with no wiring running through these holes anymore I’m going to weld them up before I paint the bay and underseal the guards. Along with a few holes in the bay and firewall.
And I’ll probably completely replace this section, where the battery tray once was.
And this is how the front suspension looks now. Should look radically different when it all goes back together.
Hopefully I’ll pull all that stuff out tomorrow, and get going on prepping for paint.
Picked these up from the new NZ supplier last night. Gunna go put them in right now!

What have we here then?
First up is a pair of Work Emotion CR Kai in 18×9.5 +12
And while I was at it I got hold of a few extras. Works Bell boss kit for the new 350mm Nardi wheel I picked up, as well as a Snap On key handle thing and a sticker set for the wheels.
And here’s how I’m storing everything at the moment while I clean up the bay and wiring.

Also I added some sweet ICE I picked up for cheap the other day.
Then shortly after decided I’d be ripping everything apart to reinstall carpet. Ahaha.

What’s going on here you ask?
Finally bought an engine. Got it stripped down, and it turns out there was a little more wrong with it than I'd hoped....
Looks like it's lost oil pressure from one of the big ends, and fucked the cam lobes as a result.... Ahh well. Should be able to give it a grind and use oversize bearings. Taking it to get checked out by a reconditioner tomorrow.
Been going crazy re-bushing the entire car lately.
Rear knuckles all done!
Rear LCA’s freshly painted, will be pressing the new bushes in tomorrow.

Sold my fake seats. Was the one part of the car I wasn’t happy with, so decided to sell them off to a friend in need of some.
Ended up picking these up last night.
Zeta II Drivers Seat & Brix II Passengers Seat.
Gave them a quick clean up after work today. Need a bit more of a clean, then they’ll be mint again.
Hopefully mount the drivers seat up tomorrow. Still need to buy a rail for the Brix though.
